Red Line to Oriente

  • Use the Red Line of the Lisbon Metro.
  • Get off at Oriente.
  • Walk about 4–5 minutes to MEO Arena.

On show days, Metro is usually the most reliable way to avoid traffic delays in Parque das Nações.

If you’re coming from outside Lisbon or from surrounding towns, CP trains are a great option to reach Gare do Oriente.

Lines serving Oriente include:

  • Sintra Line (selected services)
  • Azambuja Line
  • Northern Line (regional / intercity services)

From the train platforms, follow the signs to the northern exits and walk toward the river and the Vasco da Gama Shopping Centre. MEO Arena is just a few minutes away.

  2. Exit toward the river (south/east exit).
  3. Walk straight — MEO Arena will be on your right.

Distance: ~450 m · Time: 4–5 minutes

5. Going by car — is it worth it?

You can drive, but parking can be difficult during busy sessions.

Nearby car parks

  • Vasco da Gama Shopping Centre car parks
  • FIL (Exhibition Centre) car parks
  • Casino Lisboa / Oceanarium underground car parks

After sold-out shows, expect long queues when leaving. Metro or train is recommended.

6. Return journey & safety

  • Check the time of the last Metro and last trains.
  • Leave with some extra time after the show.
  • Parque das Nações remains busy and well lit after events.

7. Ticket price ranges

Prices usually range from €45 (Balcony 2) to around €104 (VIP Stalls), depending on date and availability.

Some sessions may display “No availability” if sold out.
